How mail-in repair works
We work by mail across the United States. Nothing is shipped before we confirm that the repair is worth attempting.
Step by step
- Tell us about the device. Send the model, the symptoms and when they started. That is enough to judge whether the device is a candidate for repair.
- You receive instructions. We confirm the intake address, how to label the package and what to include. Do not ship before this step.
- You send the device. Use a tracked carrier and share the tracking number when you ship.
- Diagnosis and estimate. Once the device arrives we inspect the fault and send you the scope, cost and estimated turnaround. Nothing is repaired without your approval.
- Repair and return. After the work, functionality is tested and the device travels back with tracked shipping.
How to pack it
- A backup made and verified, if the device still powers on.
- SIM card, memory cards and any accessories that are not part of the repair removed.
- Cushioning around the device inside a rigid box that will not collapse.
- A note inside the package with your name, phone number and the symptoms.
- Never include passwords, written unlock codes or personal documents.
Ask before you ship
Confirm who covers each leg of the shipment, whether insurance is advisable for the value of your device, and what happens if the diagnosis shows the repair is not viable. Terms are agreed case by case before anything is sent.
Can I ship from any state?
We accept shipments from anywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Total turnaround includes transit time in both directions.
What if the device cannot be repaired?
We report the diagnosis and agree with you whether the device is returned. Ask about assessment and return shipping costs before you send it.
